The Catholic University of America

The History Department encourages all of its majors to take advantage of our Washington, D.C. location by interning at one or more of the museums, think tanks, governmental offices, galleries, or non-profits located in the area.

It is possible to get course credit (History 495) from the History Department for internships that are unpaid and that have significant historical relevance.  This must be arranged prior to the start of the internship by filling out the linked form and returning it to the undergraduate advisor, Dr. Young.  Internships for course credit must include an academic component, consisting of reading and writing in consultation with a professor in the history department, the academic supervisor.

For more information, see the Arts and Sciences website.  Questions about internships should be directed to Dr. Young.
